Drinking water from a copper cup (preferably after the water has rested in it overnight) is considered beneficial for your health. Care Instructions for Your Copper Cup
To fully enjoy the benefits of copper and extend the lifespan of your cup, we recommend the following:
Daily use & cleaning:
- Rinse the cup with warm water after each use.
- Use a soft sponge and a mild, natural dish soap.
- Avoid harsh cleaners or abrasive sponges â they can damage the copper.
Deep cleaning (1â2 times per week):
- Mix lemon juice (or vinegar) with a pinch of salt and gently rub the inside and outside of the cup.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
Important to avoid:
- No dishwasher â heat and strong detergents can damage copper.
- No acidic drinks (like fruit juice or soda) â they may react with the copper.
- Donât leave water standing for too long (>8 hours) unless used for Ayurvedic copper water (Tamra Jal).
