Traditionally Prepared Suddha Shilajit
Shilajit is a natural mineral complex that forms in mountainous regions where plant material and minerals are transformed over long periods of time under the influence of pressure, heat and natural processes into a dark resinous substance. In classical Ayurvedic literature, including the Charaka Samhita, shilajit has been described for centuries as a unique natural substance originating from mountain rocks.
According to the Ayurvedic tradition, raw shilajit is not used directly. Classical texts describe that shilajit must first undergo a careful purification process (Shodhana) before it is suitable for use.
During this traditional process, the raw shilajit is first dissolved and filtered to remove natural impurities such as sand and mineral residues. The substance is then further processed and purified according to traditional Ayurvedic methods.
Through this process, Suddha Shilajit is obtained, the purified form of shilajit as described in the Ayurvedic tradition.
